What a weird-feeling but nice Sunday.  Regular class and worship services this  morning with a thought-provoking sermon on being thankful.  We had two recent visitors to “place membership,” which was encouraging, since they are girls in their 20s.  Then an enormous meal, prepared by the good ladies and cooks at Berclair, with a good crowd.  [...]

Another busy week it has been!  We’ve been getting adapted to a house guest.  So far, so good.  At least for the humans in the house.  Barney, however, does not like closed doors (are all cats like that?), and so he sits in the hallway part of the night and meows because Phil’s bedroom door [...]
