Welcome to the World, Little One!
Chase Michael (if his daddy decides it’s okay for him to have a middle name, that is!) burst upon the world today sometime noonish, weighing in at 8 lbs, 6 oz. From all accounts, he’s beautiful. In order to cut down on the possibility of flu germs, there is a no visitors policy while he and his mom are in the hospital. But she’ll be out of the hospital by Wednesday, and then we can squeeze on him a little.
After spending half a day with Chase’s older brother, Jordan, I am reminded again of why YOUNG people have little children! That boy has so much energy I’d love to bottle and sell it!! Arriving at our house at 4:30 this morning, he did sleep for several hours, I’ll give him that.
He didn’t start bouncing off the walls until his Nana got here to pick him up. Why is that, do you think?
Anyway, this brings the grand total of great-grands to 10. I asked Doris one day why she had all these kids and, therefore, grand-kids, and then, great-grandkids. She said it seemed like a good idea at the time!!!
My prayer for all of them is that they will enjoy the great adventure that is before them.
TODAY’S SMILES:
- Elisa in tears over a new grandbaby.
- Jordan using a banana for a phone to call and talk to us while he was in the same room.
- More of Phillip’s grilled hamburgers.
- A short nap this afternoon.
- Getting into the new Debbie Macomber novel involving all the Cedar Cove folks.
See you tomorrow evening. And may God bless.
